With so much to do and so much to see, it can be hard to decide which sights to see in Vienna. You could spend weeks in Austria’s beautiful capital and still not see everything. So let’s narrow it down to the 5 most iconic places to visit.
Once a hunting lodge, the Schonbrunn Palace later became the summer residence for the Hapsburgs. The Hapsburgs must have had great taste because the palace has tons of extravagant rooms and ornate gardens.
The Belvedere Palace is beautiful in and out. The interior features a stunning art collection, including works of Monet and Van Gogh. You can also walk around the grounds, which are full of gorgeous gardens and fountains.
The Hofburg Imperial Palace
The Hofburg Palace was originally the main residence of the Hapsburg dynasty, but now it houses the Austrian president. For a small fee, you can explore several exhibits and royal chambers inside.
Go Wine Tasting

St. Stephen’s Cathedral
